For two weeks every year, literary figures from throughout the country gather in rural Sewanee, Tennessee, to lead the Sewanee Writers' Conference, a series of workshops and colloquia aimed at cultivating the craft of writing. Gleaned from the first ten conferences, the "craft" lectures collected in Sewanee Writers on Writing offer a range of perspectives on writing as practiced by various playwrights, poets, and fiction writers whose gifts have made the Sewanee conference a mecca for developing talent.

The essays offer a banquet of topics that will whet the appetite of all authors, professional and amateur. Russell Banks ponders the role of research in the constitutive power of the imagination, John Casey considers simultaneity in art, and Ellen Douglas describes how a writer confronts the changing shape of memory.

Reviewing the many changes he has witnessed in his distinguished career as a playwright, Horton Foote offers his perspective on the collaborative spirit of the theater, and Ernest Gaines explains why his subject matter must always remain the people of Louisiana. Anthony Hecht responds to W. H. Auden, revealing the ways both poets pair talent with subject, and in a discussion of Robert Frost, John Hollander explores the delicate subtleties of Frost's figurative thought.

Diane Johnson offers a witty and frank answer to the question all writers face at one time or another: "Write what?" Donald Justice expounds on the virtues of obscurity in poetry, and Romulus Linney offers practical guidelines for using dramatic action to revise a play. In her examination of Nabokov's Bend Sinister, Alice McDermott demonstrates that fiction writers are bound by no rules other than "do whatever you can get away with." Marsha Norman provides a witty list of the dos and don'ts of playwriting and Francine Prose stresses the importance of detail to a story's credibility. Finally, volume editor Wyatt Prunty discusses the figure of vacancy in the stories of Flannery O'Connor and Peter Taylor.

Good product at a great price
Size: 26+17+12.01, Style: 3 piece
I was looking for some wipers that were just like the ones that come on my 2024 Honda HRV and these came up on the Amazon website so I ordered them and the very next day they were delivered to my house!!!!! WOW and they are just like the ones that came on my HRV. Very easy to install with NO adapters to use or parts to take off. All I had to do was take my old wipers off and put on the NEW ones and the price is great too. Also they come well packaged and a plastic guard is over the rubber for more protection in the shipping so be sure to take that off before install, you’d be surprised how many people would leave it on and think that they don’t work properly. Note: Be sure to clean your windshield before you use your wipers cause road scum or wax from car washes will make you think that they don’t work. I had some problems but once I cleaned my windshield really good there was no streaks at all. Now I don’t know how long they will last cause I just got them, may do another review in the future.

Two out of three
Size: 26+18+12, Style: 3 piece
Did not fit the rear wiper on a 2023 QX50 Signature. It has a different carrier than the old one. Front ones went right on and work well.

Two Filters, Quick and Easy
Size: 16-23 Tacoma, Size: 16-23 Tacoma
The RVgolf Engine+Cabin Air Filters Kit for the Toyota Tacoma V6 comes with two air filters. There is a cabin air filter that fits nicely into the compartment accessed through the glove box and an engine air filter that dropped in easily in the compartment under the hood. Replacement of both filters was easy, didn’t require any tools, and it took more time to empty and replace the items in the glove box than it did to replace both filters. The Toyota dealership quoted me $80 to replace the cabin air filter only. I replaced both filters for less than $30. The filters felt like they were good quality. The engine air filter is multi-layered, with a thin foam layer to keep larger debris from blocking the finer paper filter. The cabin air filter said and looked like it had a carbon layer to absorb smells. The only concern I had was size. After I had replaced both filters I went to slide the engine air filter I replaced into the RVgolf box to throw it away. The engine air filter I replaced would not slide into the RVgolf box. It was too big. After driving for a few days and a couple of hundred miles, I popped the hood and checked the fit of the engine air filter. The fit looked perfect. See attached photos.
