Open the AED lid to access the Pad‑Pak.

Slide out the old cartridge.

Insert a new Adult or Pediatric Pad‑Pak (depending on the intended patient).

Close the lid and confirm the AED chirps or its status light turns green—indicating it’s ready again.

Key Reminders

You must replace the entire Pad‑Pak (not just pads or battery separately) as it’s a combined cartridge

Always check the expiration date printed on the Pad‑Pak; replace it before it expires

Use Adult Pad‑Pak‑01 for adults, and the Pediatric version when treating children under ~8 years or < 55 lbs.
