Juttertje

Texels Juttertje is een heerlijke kruidenbitter van het eiland Texel. Deze op ambachtelijke wijze bereide bitter is getrokken van talrijke natuurzuivere kruiden volgens oud Texels familie recept.

Het Juttertje is bekroond met het keurmerk ‘Echt Texels Product’ en is bekend in binnen- en buitenland. Het heeft een zachte, vriendelijke smaak en komt voort uit maar liefst 14 verschillende kruiden.

Een Texelse specialiteit, bereid volgens oud Texels familie recept, die in heel Nederland verkrijgbaar is bij de betere slijters.

Texels kruidenbitter

De oorsprong

Toen Cor de Wit (geboren in 1929) in de jaren zeventig een oude Texelse distilleerderij overnam vond hij daar, in een oude lessenaar, een receptenboekje met daarin onder meer het recept van een kruidenbittertje. Dat bewuste drankje heeft hij vervolgens gemaakt en vond het erg goed smaken. Het Juttertje was geboren. Met wat hulp en een mooi etiket is het uiteindelijk gelukt om het Juttertje op de markt te brengen.
