Samsung Q-Symphony: The Secret to Better TV Sound Explained

Samsung Q Symphony might sound like a marketing term to push the latest Samsung flagships, but it’s a whole new technology with a lot to offer. You might have seen it in the latest product descriptions, but what exactly is Samsung Q Symphony?

In basic terms, Samsung Q Symphony is how compatible Samsung TVs and Samsung soundbars can interact to fully utilize the speaker settings from both products simultaneously.

Yes, and that goes beyond a marketing gimmick: most soundbars can suffer from the lack of leverage from a TV’s audio signal; and there’s often a lack of uniform height, which TV speakers can solve thanks to their physical stature and therefore the ability to deliver audio from a higher position.

Thus, when these two pieces are placed together, the jigsaw puzzle is solved: you’ll be able to add height and add more speakers for an even more immersive audio stage using Q Symphony.

Samsung Q-Symphony FAQs

Does Dolby Atmos work with Q-Symphony? If you connect a 2022 TV with a 2021 soundbar?

-If both the Samsung TV and Soundbar are in the Q Symphony supported list and are Dolby Atmos compatible, yes, they will play Dolby Atmos even if they are from different years.
